How to grow it
- Sow seed thinly in a small pot of moist mix, or divide a clump from an existing plant.
- Keep in a bright spot and water when the top of the soil dries.
- Snip the grassy leaves with scissors about an inch above the soil.
- Cut from the outside of the clump first so the center keeps producing.
Common mistakes
- Harvesting too hard before it establishes
- Soggy soil

Give it a haircut now and then — regular trimming keeps it tender and productive.
