How to Grow Beet Microgreens at Home

Striking crimson-stemmed greens carrying beets' nitrates and betalain antioxidants.

How to grow it

  1. Soak beet seed about 8 hours, then sow densely on moist soil.
  2. Cover 3–5 days to germinate (beets are a little slower).
  3. Uncover into bright light; keep damp.
  4. Harvest above the soil at day 10–18.

Each beet 'seed' is a cluster, so sow a touch less thickly than other microgreens.
